Every once in a while, someone sends me a question in a private message, or I come across a position expressed in a social media thread, and before I know it, I’ve found myself tumbling down a rabbit hole I never intended to enter.

This happened to be one of those topics.

Unbeknownst to me, there are some very massive debates in regards to the Anti-Christ and Israel’s involvement. So my first thought was to find out what the Bible said about it. Seemed like the easiest way to answer the question. Afterall, the whole concept of there even being an Anti-Christ is rooted in scripture. But the Bible doesn’t specifically say that the Anti-Christ will come from Israel and doesn’t give much insight into how much of a role the nation of Israel will actually play in the rise of the Anti-Christ.

So what are the characteristics of the Anti-Christ?

It is a deceiver. Numerous scriptures talk about how the Anti-Christ can not be trusted. That it manipulates and distorts the truth.

The Anti-Christ is exactly how it sounds: Against Christ and anyone who believes in Christ. It denies Christ and actively persecutes Christians.

The other thing I found very interesting is the Anti-Christ operates from a position of power. It controls or has influence over government officials, politicians, and nations across the globe. So much so that it dictates and monitors languages or speech.

Says it is born in the Middle East/City of Babylon. Babylon could simply mean more of a secular or non-religious city in the Middle East? But there is no specific city mentioned in the Bible about where the Anti-Christ comes from.

It’ll make a covenant with many for seven years, rebuilds the third temple, brings back animal sacrifice, then breaks the covenant after three and a half years fulfilling the prophecy of “The abomination of desolation” and declaring itself to be greater than God.

Which ultimately brings about the “Mark of the Beast” and the enslavement of the globe.

So is the nation of Israel the Anti-Christ? 

The nation of Israel is predominately made up of Jews and the Jews that practice Judaism deny that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. That’s right, they are actually still waiting for their Messiah.

That, according to some, won’t come until the third temple is rebuilt on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Which has proven to be somewhat problematic, because there happens to be a bunch of Muslims who believe that very spot is one of three holy sites in Islam.

So the third temple isn’t gonna be rebuilt anytime soon. UNLESS their Messiah comes back FIRST and brings peace to the region which would allow the temple to be rebuilt. But then, like I said, it’s up for debate.

Israel is also a major military force in the Middle East with close ties to the U.S. Some would say a bit too close. There is current legislation called, “The United States-Israel Defense Partnership Act of 2025.” Which proponents claim will streamline the intelligence and communications of our militaries. Others just refer to it as Treason.

But if that passes, that would most definitely put Israel one step closer to influencing and controlling the globe.

So what do I think?

I think the Anti-Christ will be a person. Not a country, or a group, or a form of A.I., or a movement.

Jesus Christ was a person. So I think the one opposing him will be one as well. I also think that the Anti-Christ will come from the Middle East, sure, but will most likely be someone who appears to embrace all religions, including Christianity. The uniter of Jews, Muslims, and Christians.

They’ll be touted as a champion of faith. One who unites nations and advocates for peace. Elevated to a position of great influence and power that has control and dominion over the entire globe through one world government.

The “Beast” being the greatest tool of the Anti-Christ, allowing it to monitor the speech and communication of the globe. With one global currency used in all Markets.

I think the “merger” of U.S. and Israeli military intelligence communities is just the first of many that are to take place very soon. To have a “one world government”, there can’t exactly be other governments, ya know? The concept of “Sovereignty” will simply apply to individual planets.

And I think God is in control of it all. So be at peace.

***I lost track of the amount of scriptures I read while researching this topic. But here is a list of some that I used: Daniel 9:27, Daniel 7:25, Matthew 24:24, 2 John 1:7, 1 John 4:3, 1 John 2:18, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Revelations 13:5-8…..and a lot more.

****It makes no sense to me how some people use this topic as a justification for antisemitism—as if being opposed to Israel or the Jewish people because of their rejection of Christianity and adherence to Judaism somehow makes them wholly responsible for the coming End Times or the rise of the Antichrist. It’s illogical. There is no group of people capable of bringing forth the Antichrist any more than there is a group of people capable of stopping it. According to Christian theology, this is a spiritual event that will happen according to God’s plan. Nothing you personally do or say is going to speed it up or slow it down. And honestly, to even think that you are personally in control of such events is itself contrary to Christ. Christ is in control. You are not.

So buckle up, princess. It’s going to be one hell of a ride!
