He walked by my office and looked as if he had been punched in the gut repeatedly. As he walked by again I called out for him ta come talk to me. He came into my office and slouched down into one of my chairs. I looked at him and smiled. Then said, “What the hell is going on with you?”
He just shrugged and said, “Not much.” Which was bullshit. So, I pressed him on it. Then he said the had gotten into an argument with his lady and that she said he was stupid. That he was beginning to believe her. Like, “maybe I am really stupid?” I couldn’t help but laugh. That’s just not something you expect ta hear ya know?
I said, “Her saying that to you was stupid. You believing it, or giving any credence to it at all, is stupid. Outside of that we are all dumb shits at different levels. But my level of dumb shit isn’t any better or worse than your level of dumb shit when we’re doing dumb shit. Get it?”
That being said, I.Q. is a thing.
It’s so much of a thing that they actually have schools devoted to the creation of geniuses, like The Center for Talented Youth and societies devoted to those with high levels of intelligence such as, MENSA.
Some of you are reading about those organizations for the first time. Because you have the I.Q. of a tomato and no one in their right mind would allow you to join. Let alone even bother to tell you about them. Just kidding!
Your level of I.Q. has a marked impact on how you go through life. It just does.
Your ability to comprehend and navigate work related issues, personal relationship issues, etc. all stem on your ability to connect the proverbial mental dots in your head.
So if you were dropped on your head as a baby, chances are, you probably raise your voice and name call. Cause that’s what low wit, dumb I.Q. m’fers like you do, when they’re angry at someone.
It affects the skill level of job you’re capable of doing. Some design the rocket, some fly the rocket, some clean the shitter in the facility the rocket is stored. Your ability to grasp world events, the News, what’s real and what isn’t. All tied into your level of mental capacity of understanding and comprehension. And with the average I.Q. being less than 100, is it any wonder to anyone as to why the news is so heavily manipulated? Is it any wonder to anyone why politicians capitalize on the ignorance of their constituents?
But having a high I.Q. still doesn’t protect or save you from the dipshittery that is you.
A perfect example that is Ted Kaczynski, also known as, The Unabomber. The guy had an I.Q. of something like 167. A mathematical genius. Yet he had the social intellect of a turnip. He spent 20 years evading police while bombing innocent people because he simply couldn’t wrap his head around the internal idiot that was him.
And that’s the thing, if you’re not that smart and you got a low I.Q., you tend ta take offense to people questioning your level of intelligence. On the other hand, if ya got a high I.Q. you don’t get bothered by the subject of intelligence. But you tend to think that your level of I.Q. bleeds across all aspects of your life, and it doesn’t.
Ultimately, either way, we’re all idiots at different times and your level of idiot isn’t any better or worse than my level of idiot, when either of us are behaving like an idiot. Get it?
Acknowledgement is the key.
There are simply some things in this life that my brain is not capable of grasping. Some concepts take longer for me to understand. I have to actively work, through repetition and extra reading, to comprehend certain things. I’m not bothered by that. I’m not offended by someone claiming I’m ignorant of a subject or lack understanding of a certain expertise. To me, that would make sense.
It would make sense for me to not have every level of understanding or expertise in every field I encounter. I think to feel otherwise would be a precursor to the discovery of a possible mental disorder. I am also very much aware of and in tune of that which is the idiot in me. The idiot in me that knows that regardless of I.Q. or education, or back ground, or training, people are subjected to MY LEVEL OF IDIOT. In the same or similar way, that I and/or other people are subjected to the level of idiot in YOU.
Even on your best days, with the sharpest of minds and the best of intentions the people around you are subjected to the brunt of your internal idiot. We are all just at different levels of idiot. Remember that. And please spare us all your level of idiot.

***I would like to totally apologize to anyone reading this who has this as a field of study.
Obviously I have colored all outside of the lines in numerous areas and have drawn conclusions and correlations that are not equated to I.Q. I get it, totally understand, and was simply doing so in an effort to simplify. Please do not message me with suggested “corrections”. Thx
****Had a friend ask me if I had ever taken any I.Q. tests. I said I had and I think they were pretty much pure rubbish. I personally feel to take a test and find out that I have an high I.Q. would be the most embarrassing thing that could ever happen. To be found to be so intelligent having lived such an idiotic life, I simply could not bare the thought. I am totally content with having the average idiot I.Q. that I share with the vast majority of the global populace.
*****I’ve had people ask me if I thought they were smart. I find the question somewhat confusing. Because I can judge a statement or behavior as to whether or not I think it was based on a level of intelligence, but to determine and make a statement as to the level of intelligence a person is? I have no accurate way of knowing that.
I don’t actually walk around with I.Q. tests for people to do.
So if I have ever called you an idiot, and I most likely have at some point, I am most definitely stating that in reference to something you have said or done and you can be sure that it does apply. At that moment, you most definitely were behaving like an idiot or said something idiotic.
******You shouldn’t be bothered by someone questioning your intelligence. We’re all idiots at different levels and times. It could simply be your turn to be the idiot. It always makes me laugh when I meet someone for the first time after having them read my blogs for a while.
We’ll be talkin and then at some point they’ll stop. Then with a look of confusion on their face say, “I’m really surprised you don’t get that or don’t seem to understand. You seem so intelligent in your writings.”
Haha! Ya, in my writings, where I have plenty of time to think and type and google, lol. My level of idiot isn’t any better or different than yours. YOU think of me as intelligent and I simply found no reason to argue with you about it. 😉
