Did you read the latest article published by the Atlantic? It’s titled, “Let’s declare a Pandemic Amnesty”. The author starts out with describing all of the preparations and activities she did in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid. She mentions the mask made and the hand signals that she used to communicate with her friends and family without coming close enough in contact to spread covid. She describes the fear and the unknowing of what it was we were actually dealing with.

There was a level of understanding I had when reading it. But that level of understanding was short lived. Because the author, like so many others we encountered during the height of the lockdowns and rationing, didn’t just do things to prevent the spread of covid, they were outspoken and militant about enforcing others to do so too.

So she writes this piece declaring that she was wrong and that she “didn’t know”. She blames, “misinformation” and even takes a jab at Trump; knowing full well he never told anyone to drink bleach. Then she asks that we “let it go” and that we “move on”.

Um…now I can’t speak for every body, but: No.

No. Absolutely not.

You and the people like you Emily, have proven yourselves incapable of rational thought. You’ve proven that you lack the ability to think for yourself and are incompetent in determining real threats. Have a total lack of ability to assess a situation and form a logical, rational, effective response. And lack the mental capacity to provide sound judgement. As a result, you should NEVER be listened to or followed in the event of a crisis. Ever.

When Fauci came out and declared the N95 mask as the only masks that were capable of preventing covid, then a month later was advocating for any cloth covering to be worn, you didn’t question it. Instead, you “mAdE yOuR oWn” mask and demonized people for not wearing something, anything, over their mouths. EVEN THOUGH there were numerous stats stating that cloth masks were virtually ineffective in preventing the spread. You actually argued with people over a less than 5% effective rate. “5% iS bEtTeR tHaN nOtHiNg!”…no it isn’t. No it isn’t, Emily. Not even a little bit. And you’d kno that, if you actually had a brain capable of comprehending facts. But you don’t. You have a brain that is rooted in illogical, irrational fear.

When someone wearing a bandana over their face is greeted with the same acceptance as someone wearing a N95 mask, you should KNOW something is wrong.

But you didn’t. You didn’t question it. Instead you accepted the bandanas along with N95 wearers, because to you they were “aT lEaSt dOiNg SoMeThiNg!”. (Pro Tip: Sometimes doing something isn’t enough. Sometimes when you can’t do enough it’s best to do nothing.)

You advocated for schools to be closed, businesses to be closed down, etc. all the while using the covid response as a way to boost your own ego and declare your moral superiority to the people you call your friends and to your family. And you arrogantly did the same thing with the vaccine as you did with the masks. First declaring it to be paramount in everyone getting vaccinated to “sToP tHe SpReAd!” Then criticized people for not getting their second and third “booster”. You advocated for “Covid I.D.’s” so that people couldn’t ride a plane, enter certain buildings or attend certain functions without it. You stuck our kids in masks. They missed graduations, funerals and family gatherings that they’ll never get back.

And now you want Amnesty? You want us ta “Let it go” and for us to “Move on”?

No. Go f*ck yourself.

You and the people like you SHOULD NOT be listened to or followed. You’re lives are lived in a constant state of fear and you make irrational decisions. And you lack the ability to make sound judgment. Covid proved that. You are the people in society that should be ignored.

Your behavior during this time will not be forgiven. It will be remembered. Your request for Amnesty has been denied.

***Ima big fan of people having opinions.

I don’t mind if people voice their opinions and I actually encourage that. Frankly, I voice my opinion all the time. However, I understand that when I am voicing my opinion, I can be wrong. I have in fact been proven wrong on more occasions than I prefer to talk about. That being said, how I live my life is my own and how you live your life is your own.

So the mantra I tend ta live by is: I have my shit and you got your shit…you are welcome to live in your shit, until the moment your shit gets on my shit, then we’ll have problems. So, I’ll voice my opinion, which may or may not be correct; what you do with it is your business. I am not so arrogant to think that MY way is always the best course and I am happy to sit back and say I told you so, if it is.

So when asked about wearing masks or getting a vac’s was posed, my basic response was: I don’t care. Neither did much to prevent the spread of covid based on my understanding of what was read.

But you may also be some of the few that are touting the “pUrE blOoD” ridiculousness. And if so, you may find yourselves in the cross hairs of another one of my blogs pointing out the stupidity of that phrase. (Pro-Tip: There’s nothing “pure” about your blood, dipshit. The term is being used with the some of the same arrogance and ignorance of those that toted wearing a cloth diaper over their face as a mask.) 

*****From a political perspective, there is a marked difference between “Leftists” and “Conservatives”. 

Both are fear driven, however their approach to a threat is very different. Leftists will do for the sake of doing; because it makes them feel better. Conservatives won’t do something unless and until it solves the problem or eliminates the threat. Which is why you had so many douchebags running around with cloth diapers on their faces and had so many that refused to wear them.

Leftists wore masks even though they did nothing in an effort to make themselves feel like they were doing something. Conservatives looked at the stats and saw bs, then refused to wear them. Which simply goes to prove that when shit hits the proverbial fan, the group ta watch is the Conservatives….when they runnin, we truly f*cked.
