No one  likes a closed door when they need to get to what’s beyond it. Any dreams or efforts you had up until reaching that point seem to be a total waste of time. Frustrating. Especially when you can see beyond that point in your minds eye.

You think you’re doing what you’re supposed to do. Right where you’re supposed to be. Moving right along just nicely. Then, for whatever reason, you get stopped by a door. Can’t go any farther than that. So you just stand there…dumbfounded. Just standing there staring at that door.

Sometimes it has nothing to do with you. Sometimes in life shitty people do shitty things and we unwittingly come into the cross hairs of whatever lesson they are supposed to learn. Sometimes our paths come to an end because of other peoples failings. That’s a tough thing to accept at times, I know. That sometimes whatever we were doing or trying to accomplish had nothing to do with our dreams or desires; sometimes we are just the catalyst in other people’s lives, to promote change.

That doesn’t mean that what we were striving for will never happen. It just means that it may not happen right now. 

 

I know no one likes ta hear that. I’ve never liked hearing that. Never agreed much with the explanations of it either. Seems ta me that if God has different plans for your life He should at least make ya privy ta them, right? Makes sense ta me. And people can put that “trust Him” and “wE’ll tHeRe mUsT bE a LeSsOn yOu’Re sUpPoSeD tA bE leArNin!” shit right inta their ass. You don’t get ta smear shit on a turd and claim it’s decoration. I can think of a million frickin ways to help someone learn something, without the cruelty of a closed door with no explanation. Closed doors are shit and the explanations of them are shit. So call it what it is. Shit.

That’s how I feel when I’m standing there staring at a door, anyway.

The things is…if you’re going to claim the positive in a closed door situation, the positive has to actually be seen! It has to be noticed, acknowledged, understood, etc. in order to have impact.

Otherwise it’s just cruelty.

 

Get it? You meet up with a closed door and your told things like, “Everything happens for a reason”, “Just let go and let God”, etc. then you know there has to be a window, right? I mean…there has to be. If someone is gonna attribute something like that to God without an answer or explanation, then they aren’t describing God, they’re describing something Satanic, evil, and cruel.

The God I know is the God of answers. The God of truth. The God of freeing of slaves and setting captives free. How could anyone attribute a closed door without answer as something characteristic of God?

The answer is there! It’s there. It may not be in that door, but you can be damn sure there’s a window. 

There will ALWAYS be a window. There will ALWAYS be an answer. 

….every time.

Don’t dismiss or ignore the windows when you’re standing at a door. You may not want to see or even acknowledge the window. I get it. But refusing to acknowledge something doesn’t negate it being there.

….and when you see it…when you choose to finally acknowledge it…you smack that window so hard, bust right through that window, with everything you got! Don’t look back, don’t ask questions, JUST GO! 

Find that window. It’s there. There’s always a window!

***Don’t be so quick ta blame closed doors on God. Sometimes plans that don’t work out don’t have a damn thing ta do with God. Sometimes people just suck and they do things that is against God’s Will; and it has nothing to do with God or you! 

****Closed doors don’t mean shit. They don’t mean whatever it is you want ta do isn’t going to happen. They just simply mean ya ain’t going that way! So pick a different route. You believe in God then you believe in the impossible. Because the impossible is possible with God. God is notorious for making things possible that weren’t. Happens all the time. Often those things are dismissed. But it doesn’t seem ta stop them from happening!

*****Be TENACIOUS with the goals and dreams you are striving for. Pursue them with every drop of life, every ounce of blood within your being…be relentless. Sometimes…you beat on a door long enough, it opens.
