My heart sank when I got the text saying you had been shot. I immediately stopped what I was doing and googled. Hoping to hear that it was a near miss or that you had just been wounded and were in recovery. All the while praying for a miracle.

About an hour later I saw the video of you being shot. I knew the moment I saw it you were gone and there was no hope of you living through that.

Made me sick seeing that. Such a horrific thing. With a mix of emotions full of anger and sadness. I felt such loss.

To be honest, I wasn’t exactly a fan of yours. Sure, I had heard of you and watched a few of your debates. But I never really followed you and you weren’t exactly my “go to” for recommending people to watch. That being said, I knew you were a believer and promoted Conservative values.

So when I started seeing you being misquoted on social media, I immediately came to your defense. 

They were calling you a racist, a fascist and actually implying that you deserved to be shot. Claiming you promoted hate speech.

None of which is true. All of which is easily debunked with a simple google search. They would actually take portions of the things you talked about out of context in an effort to stir up emotions and promote hate.

Some of the things people were saying was disgusting. There were actually videos of people celebrating your death. By far the worst of humanity was exposed.

There was the other side too… 

People like me, who were sincerely shook by your death and were stepping up to defend you. Pointing out the blatant lies that some people were buying in to. Claiming “We” are Charlie now. With Facebook statuses saying, “I am Charlie”.

But while watching some of your debates, I couldn’t help but feel that I am not.

I’m not you, Charlie. How could I be? 

The patience you showed when talking to people. So polite in making sure to let people talk and share their opinion. I never once heard you call anyone an idiot. HOW did you manage that?!

People were painting you as being worse than Hitler. Claiming you were a fascist, while simultaneously accepting the mic you handed them. And you would smile and still speak kindly towards them.

Nah, I’m not you Charlie…I’m just not.

It makes me wonder… 

Do they know that the United States doesn’t have a Fascist Political Ideology? That the term “Fascist” is in reference to a political ideology in Europe during WWI. And in the googled definition, when it uses the term “Far-Right” it doesn’t have the same meaning in Europe as it does here in the States?

I mean, of course they don’t know. How could they? If they did, they would be forced to acknowledge the core tenants of what it means to be a Fascists. Those being: An Authoritarian government, homage to a centralized leader/dictator, and forceable suppression of opposition.

“Fascists” have no problem imposing their “laws” or “rules” on society. They idolize their President and they believe that the needs of society outweigh the needs of the individual. They’ll silence their opponents through censorship, impose mandates, and will use violence to force adherence. Which is more of a clear representation that better describes the political ideology of the Left in the U.S.

So tell me Charlie, HOW are they calling the people who believe in small government, personal freedoms, who fly flags that say “Don’t tread on me”, who believe that God and your family come before Country, who refused to follow mask mandates or succumb to being forced to take the COVID shot, etc. How are they calling those people Fascists? What a twisting of the truth!

I don’t get it…

And I’m not supposed to question their mental capacity or call them stupid?

Is that why they seem so intent on claiming Trump is a Dictator and the people who voted for him as being part of a cult? Is it so they can fit it into the narrative being told to their low wit followers?

Dictators don’t refer things to individual States, like Trump has done on numerous occasions. They don’t wait for their DOJ’s to finish their investigations of political opponents. They don’t bother with “Mean Tweets”.

Cultists don’t hold God or their family higher than their leader. People support Trump because of his policies, but I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone willing to defend some of the off the wall comments he’s made. No one is blind to how unbelievably human and faulted the man is.

Where do we go from here, Charlie? 

They shot you. You, the guy who tried to sit down and simply have a debate. Sat there and willfully engaged with some of the dumbest questions, dumbest statements, ever brought to a debate table in a society.

And they shot you for it.

Is another Civil War imminent? Is that the solution? They poke the bear and poke the bear, until eventually we just give them what they are asking for? Should the Right give them a taste of their own medicine?

I know you are shaking your head. I can feel the disapproval. See you sucking on the breath mint or chewing whatever you got in your mouth and reaching down to pick up the mic to tell me, no.

It’s been such a weight, man…

The days that followed your death just felt dark and heavy. I can’t explain it. But I felt myself breaking down in tears on more than one occasion over a man I hardly knew.

And then the conspiracies and different views hit the threads, blah, blah, blah.

I miss you man. The world is a darker place without you.

So, Charlie if you’re reading this, I’m glad to know you are in a better place. And I am so thankful for having lived during a time when you were here.

***If you had the opportunity to go back in time and kill Hitler before he’s rose to prominence and inflicted so much pain and death on the world, would you do it? Because for many, THAT is the question they had running in their mind when contemplating the death of Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk was an effective debater and the Left feared him. So much so, that they went to extreme lengths to portray him as being inherently evil. 

That’s why they unabashedly took quotes of him out of context and claimed he was a racist or a fascist. They simply blatantly lied to perpetuate a narrative that they knew the ignorant of society would never question and simply parrot. 

Is it any wonder then, when we have so many of our elected officials in the Democrat Party referring to U.S. citizens on the opposite political isle as being fascists or comparing them to Nazi’s, why someone would attempt to shoot Trump or kill Charlie Kirk? 

****The conspiracies have been crazy.

I’ve heard that Charlie was shot from behind, by one of his team. That the image of him sitting there under the canopy is fake, a hologram, and he is actually alive. Apparently he was changing his stance on Israel prior to his death and so Israel killed him. Candace Owens is investigating it and has the inside scoop. 

*****The amount of people that literally jumped to make money off his death was sickening. Within hours I saw videos of content creators all attempting to get in on the Charlie Kirk “clicks”. They got shirts now, that say “I am Charlie”. I think there was a A.I. book that came out before his death. It’s insane to me how some people are willing to profit from death.
